Overview: Students will use 5th grade prior knowledge of experimental probability to find the theoretical probability of an independent event and its complement. Data will be gathered and analyzed by using prior knowledge of basic operations to find the mean, median, mode and range of the data. This data will also be organized through the use of graphs, charts, and tables. Probability will be described using various forms, including fractions, decimals, and percents.
Focus: Students will use their prior knowledge of basic operations to find the mean, median, mode and range of a set of data.
